Full Arch Implant Restorations in Brooklyn, NY

A full set of fixed teeth for the upper or lower jaw, supported by four to six implants.

What Is a Full Arch Implant Restoration?

Implant full arch restorations replace an entire arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed, implant-supported prosthesis. For patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth are beyond reliable repair, full arch restoration provides a permanent, non-removable solution that restores complete function, aesthetics, and confidence. It is one of the most life-changing treatments available in modern dentistry.

Who Full Arch Restoration Is For

Full arch restoration is for patients who have lost, or are about to lose, all the teeth in one jaw and want teeth that stay in place. It replaces a removable denture with a fixed bridge that is brushed like natural teeth.

  • All or most teeth in one arch are missing or cannot be saved
  • A denture that slips, rubs or limits what you can eat
  • Advanced gum disease or decay affecting many teeth
  • Enough bone for implants, with or without grafting
  • Readiness for a staged treatment over several months

Full Arch Implant Restorations at Bensonhurst Dental Care

At Bensonhurst Dental Care, implant full arch restorations are provided by Dr. Geoffrey Rubinshtein, whose board certification in periodontics and advanced surgical training make him uniquely qualified for this level of care. The treatment involves the strategic placement of four to six implants per arch, positioned to maximize support and stability within the available bone. Once the implants have integrated with the jawbone, a full set of custom-designed teeth is fabricated and permanently attached, giving the patient a complete, natural-looking smile that is fixed in place.

What to Expect, Step by Step

The planning process for full arch restoration is thorough and highly individualized. Dr. Geoffrey uses advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to assess bone volume, density, and anatomy before determining the ideal implant positions. For patients with significant bone loss, preparatory procedures such as bone grafting may be recommended to create a solid foundation. Every detail is accounted for before treatment begins, ensuring predictable, lasting results.

  1. Records and planning. Photos, scans and 3D imaging are used to plan the implants and the new teeth.
  2. Surgery. Remaining teeth are removed if needed and four to six implants are placed.
  3. Temporary teeth. A fixed or removable temporary set is worn during healing.
  4. Healing. Implants integrate over three to six months.
  5. Final records. Impressions, bite records and a try-in confirm the look and fit.
  6. Final placement. The permanent arch is attached and care instructions are reviewed.

Life with a Fixed Full Arch

Full arch restorations eliminate the inconvenience and limitations of traditional removable dentures. There is no adhesive, no slipping, and no removal for cleaning. Patients eat, speak, and smile with complete confidence. For patients who are not missing an entire arch but need to replace several consecutive teeth, implant bridges or individual implant crowns offer targeted solutions. Dr. Geoffrey works with each patient to determine the scope of treatment that best matches their needs and goals.

Cost and Insurance

The fee for restorative treatment depends on how much of the tooth needs rebuilding and on the material used. You receive a written estimate before treatment starts.

What affects the cost

  • The size and position of the tooth being restored
  • The material chosen, such as composite, ceramic or zirconia
  • Supporting procedures such as a core buildup, post or root canal
  • Laboratory fees for custom restorations

Most dental plans contribute to restorative care, often at different rates for fillings, crowns and bridges. Our team can check your benefits and explain your options before treatment begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many implants are needed for a full arch restoration?

Most full arch restorations are supported by four to six implants per arch, though the exact number depends on the patient’s bone structure and the design of the prosthesis. Dr. Geoffrey determines the optimal configuration during the planning phase.

Is full arch restoration the same as All-on-4?

All-on-4 is one specific approach to full arch restoration that uses four implants per arch placed at strategic angles to maximize bone contact. Full arch restoration is a broader term that encompasses several implant configurations, including All-on-4, All-on-6, and other variations. Dr. Geoffrey recommends the approach best suited to each patient’s anatomy and goals.

How long does the process take from start to finish?

The timeline varies depending on the patient’s needs. Some cases allow for same-day temporary teeth on the day of surgery, with the final prosthesis delivered after full healing, typically three to six months later. Cases requiring bone grafting or additional preparation may take longer. Dr. Geoffrey provides a clear timeline during the consultation.

Can I eat normally with implant-supported teeth?

Yes. Once the final prosthesis is in place, patients can eat a full range of foods with confidence. The fixed restoration is stable, strong, and designed to withstand normal chewing forces. Most patients report that the experience is very similar to eating with natural teeth.

How do I care for a full arch restoration?

Daily brushing and the use of a water flosser or interdental brushes to clean around and under the prosthesis are recommended. Regular professional cleanings and checkups ensure the implants and surrounding tissue remain healthy. The care routine is straightforward and the dental team provides thorough instructions.

What Our Patients Say

The best dentists on the planet. Very knowledgeable and patient with everyone. I had a complex case where I had to get implants redone and they actually had to do some detective work to find out the implants I previously had placed by another dentist. Trust me they had their work cut out for them but they did it! I definitely recommend them for any dental and implant/smile makeover work!

My cousin and I came in for a consultation two days ago and we both left very satisfied. We went to a different doctor before and we weren't much options but implants. Here at Bensonhurst we recieved 3 options which was comfortable for us.Very impressed with the doctors and service here.

The entire staff has been so helpful and extremely sweet. Everyone has made this experience such a pleasure and it has been incredibly educational. My teeth are so white that they pass the tissue test! I am beyond excited with my new teeth that I cannot stop smiling. I truly feel that everyone should take the time to come in for a consultation.
